The Hartford Wolf Pack (an affiliate of the New York Rangers) of the American Hockey League has announced that Hugh Jessiman, has won the team's 2006-07 Man of the Year award. The former Dartmouth forward was up for the award because of his outstanding contributions to the Hartford community during the season.
Jessiman approached the Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation at the beginning of the season looking for opportunities to volunteer his time and expand upon community services activities that he had taken part in during his first season with the team.
His involvement includes working with the CT Children's Medical Center and team functions and fundraisers and Booster Club-sponsored events.
