An All-America selection in each of the past three seasons, McLean led the Big Red to victories over Colorado State in each of the past two national title games after contributing to triumphs over Virginia in championship games her freshman and sophomore seasons.

Sarah Averson, Lacrosse

Sarah Averson (Manlius, N.Y.) was named to the women's lacrosse All-Ivy first team in 2002 and 2003. She finishes her outstanding career as the school's second all-time leading scorer with 138 goals and ranks fourth on the Big Red's all-time points list with 174. A second-team IWLCA All-America selection as a junior, Averson was named MVP of the 2000 and 2003 ECAC tournaments and helped the Big Red make its first-ever appearance in the NCAA semifinals in 2002. She was part of the winningest senior class in Cornell history with 52 victories.

Doug Murray, Ice Hockey

A two-time first-team All-America defenseman, Murray (Bromma, Sweden) helped lead the Big Red men's hockey team to both the ECAC regular-season and tournament titles along with its first Frozen Four appearance in 23 seasons. He spearheaded the Cornell defense, which allowed only 1.36 goals per game, the best average in the country. A co-captain for the Big Red in 2002-03, Murray was named the top defenseman in the ECAC and was selected to the conference's first team for the second consecutive season. A force on both ends of the ice, Murray tallied 84 points over his career, including 15 power-play goals.

Ryan McClay, Lacrosse

A three-time All-America selection as a defenseman, McClay is candidate for the 2003 Tewaaraton Award, given annually to the top collegiate lacrosse player in the country. He served as one of the Big Red's tri-captains in each of the past two seasons and was a member of the U.S. national team at the 2002, where he won a gold medal as the tournament's most valuable defender.
